“A noumenon can become a phenomenon on any plane of existence only by manifesting on that plane through an appropriate basis or vehicle; and during the long night of rest called Pralaya, when all the existences are dissolved, the “UNIVERSAL MIND” remains as a permanent possibility of mental action, or as that abstract absolute thought, of which mind is the concrete relative manifestation.
No one could say that a bar of metal dropped into the sea came into existence as it left the air, and ceased to exist as it entered the water, and that the bar itself consisted only of that cross-section thereof which at any given moment coincided with the mathematical plane that separates, and, at the same time, joins, the atmosphere and the ocean. Even so of persons and things, which, dropping out of the to-be into the has-been, out of the future into the past – present momentarily to our senses a cross-section, as it were, of their total selves, as they pass through time and space (as matter) on their way from one eternity to another: and these two constitute that “duration” in which alone anything has true existence, were our senses but able to cognize it there.” ……………Secret Doctrine, I 37, 38

The wisdom of Madam Blavatsky is laid bare in the statement above. A bar of metal occupying various levels or as we can say in science, various coordinates in three dimensional space, seems to go through a transformation from that ‘which is not’ to that ‘which is’ and finally into that ‘which is not’. This sequence of events is on the assumption that the bar of metal is dropped out of an invisible balloon high up in the atmosphere, to an observer who is sailing in a boat in the ocean. He or she witnesses a point of appearance defined by specific location in space and time and then into a coordinate in space and time, at its impact at very surface of the water, where it disappears.

All manifestations, from the subatomic particles to the universe, have a beginning and an end in the plane of existence to an observer. The mandatory condition is that the witness has to exist in the very same plane of of the object’s existence.

From the perspective of consciousness, the consciousness of the observer brings into his field of observation, all space-time probabilities into a single defined event at any moment of time, namely; a beginning and an end. This is what we call the collapse of the probability wave function through an observation in Quantum physics. Hence the vehicle that transports this reality and observation is the personal consciousness of the observer.

By the very same logic with which we have defined the plane and vehicle of existence, there could be infinite number of planes and vehicles of existence which are outside the boundary of a specific individual consciousness. The capacity for expanding the boundary of any individual plane and vehicle of existence (consciousness) to encompass all existence is far beyond any singular subject – object interaction. This is because all potentialities of realization both in the microcosm and the macrocosm lie within the observing boundary. In trying to define or theorize any reality outside a verifiable space-time boundary, leads us to the field of abstraction which lie outside the boundary of observation. All mathematical tools are abstractions. All abstractions from the conscious mind starts with an a priori axiom or set of axioms which are the results of concepts which are beyond verifications and hence not scientific (Gödel’s incompleteness theorems). This leads us to the position that all mathematically derived and inferred observations resulting in any theory is susceptible to falsification.
Hence the derivation of the first part of the opening statement to this article;

A relative manifestation of the UNIVERSAL MIND can only have a limited potentiality in itself. But by tapping into the relational bond between the relative mind and the UNIVERSAL MIND the hard boundary of individual consciousness can be transformed to possess a quality like an osmatic membrane to tap into the UNIVERSAL MIND. This process can only be activated purely at the subjective experiential level. This is what every mystic experiences.
